Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being persistent in learning and genuinely enjoying the challenges that come with this work. Staying curious and committed to growth has helped me continuously improve and adapt in a dynamic field.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was, "Let nothing stop you from achieving your goals—you can do anything." Along with keeping my faith in the Lord 🙏🏼👍🏼🌿😊both statements above ⬆️ remind me that determination and belief in yourself & our Lord are powerful tools. This mindset has pushed me to keep growing, even when the path wasn't easy!

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace the challenges, especially in sales, and don’t be afraid to be aggressive. There’s a lot of competition out there, so confidence and persistence are key to standing out and succeeding. Stay focused, keep learning, and remember that your unique perspective is a strength. By the way, when I’m not working, I did enjoy staying active through exercise and fitness, especially at the gym in between long walks. Unfortunately the gym kicked me out & the gym owner kept all of my yearly paid membership dues = $250. I didn’t whine about it, but I did send them an email and asked for some feedback & some reason why they kept it all. Edge has not responded. I’m also passionate about strategy & thinking 🤔 games on my phone—it’s a great way to unwind and stay sharp.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in this particular industry right now is marketing outreach to connect with new people = Sellers, Buyers, and Client Buyer groups & attempting to build lasting relationships. The demand for expert client relationships & care is growing, but standing out in a competitive market means constantly finding new ways to reach potential business and showcase the value of professional broker services & relationships. It’s an exciting time to network, grow, and bring innovative solutions to the clients and the industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me—both in my work and personal life—are kindness, respect, and understanding. Treating all others like I would like to be treated as well = with empathy and integrity, kindness & respect. These create stronger connections, whether I’m working with clients, colleagues, or anyone in my community. I believe that leading with respect and compassion builds trust and makes every environment more positive and productive.
